UBA Cell NIT Meghalaya has organized an interaction session of our UG students with the class 11 & 12th Standard students at school of RK Mission Sohra on 27th April, 2024 followed by a drawing competition based on the following topics of interest:
(1) Applications of Solar Energy, (2) Benefits of Millet Cultivation and (3) Rainwater Harvesting.
Plantation Drive (Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam) by UBA Cell NITM on 24-8-2024 in NIT Meghalaya Sohra Campus
UBA Cell NIT Meghalaya (as PI) has conducted a short training related to vermicomposting for the villagers (from Saitsophen and Kutmadan) at its permanent campus on 21-9-2024
The UBA Cell, NIT Meghalaya (PI) conducted a Special Gram Sabha in Kutmadan village (Sohra) on 2nd October. UG, PG and Ph.D. students participated in this program. Felicitation of aged villagers was done along with plantation drives, pledges taken on Swachhata, FIT-India and Drug Free India.
